Tasmania’s North West

We are thrilled to be working with Tasmania’s North West providing strategic social media marketing. We’re managing their organic and paid social media channels to promote tourism to the area with a targeted marketing campaign and digital content creations. In a region that’s home to breathtaking scenery, unbelievable history, gourmet produce and the world’s cleanest air, there’s no end to the experiences on offer, and all of them are just a short trip away.

Marzipan Media provided strategic social media marketing & training together with Adwords services to promote the region. Using user-generated social media content and local knowledge to create enticing stories of adventure and natural beauty to connect with audiences. We teamed up with the legends at We Are Explorers to create stunning video campaigns that featured the best of this exquisite area.

Our social media strategy was based on utilising digital content from social media, influencer marketing and paid social advertising to promote this spectacular corner of the world. With this approach to their digital marketing campaign we were able to stimulate positive conversations about Tasmania’s North West across key social media platforms of Facebook, and Instagram plus offline.

Putting these strategies in place we have been able to produce a substantial increase in engagement, likes, and hashtag usage in just a short period of time. Drawing on our experiences with other iconic tourism destinations we were able to demonstrate a positive rise in performance metrics across all digital content channels. Engagement for the brand rose 400% in the first month across Facebook and Instagram. Likes increased by over 60% on Instagram alone.
